The Supermax Switchable Permanent Chuck is a more robust construction with greater magnetic power, this chuck is designed for use with milling machines.
The pole spacing of 8-5 (8 mm steel and 5 mm brass) is suitable for all kinds of pieces with thickness of 5 mm to the largest pieces.
Clamping force is 120N/cm²
This chuck is complete;y coolant tight and oil tight and can operate totally submerged in these liquids.
Magnetisation is carried out via the lever, chuck over 600 mm in length are operated via 2 levers.
Clamps to hold the chuck are supplied separately and can be ordered as optional extras.
This chuck is available in sizes 400 mm x 300 mm to 1000 mm x 300 mm
